This workshop is facilitated by Foundation House and is for those working in counselling roles in the alcohol and other drugs sector. It focusses on theory and frameworks that underpin working with refugee related trauma and includes strategies for engagement, approaches to assessment and dealing with symptoms and challenging presentations. Attending prior day’s training Settlement, Trauma and Addiction is a pre-requisite for this workshop.
