80’s PROM!
Event on 2017-04-08 19:00:00
On Saturday night, April 8th 2017- step back in time and go to prom- 80s style!  The 80s Prom will be held at the New Danville Fire company reception hall- in Lancaster, PA from 7pm-11pm. Doors will open around 6:50pm. Please dress in an 80's outfit, and be ready to have a great night! Have fun with it! There are no rules about what you have to wear- just show up in something fun!! :) You do not HAVE to have a prom dress or tux on. You can come in any 80s outfit you choose. While this is a prom- if you want to come to prom dressed like the Karate Kid- go ahead! Want to look like Boy George? Awesome! Want to wear a workout outfit and leggings, and pumps (yeah, in the 80s they did this… haha)- by all means, please do! Haha… I don't want people to not come because they don't think they can find an outfit. I'm confident you can come up with something fun- you decide how dressed up or down you want to be! The only request I have, is to please have an 80s vibe!!! :) Prizes for best costumes!  Tickets come to a total of (after fees) and all tickets include food (there will be finger foods, chicken wraps, hors d'oeuvres, and snacks- no sit down meal will be served), beer, wine, and soda. There will be dancing all night, a Prom outfit/costume contest, and a PHOTOBOOTH which will print picture strips, all included in your ticket price! Sorry, unfortunately no refunds. There will also be some raffles if you are interested! Baskets, tattoo gift certificate, restaurant gift cards, and much more!  :) Please bring cash for the raffle. Because there will be alcohol served, this event will be 21+. No need to print your ticket- either show on your phone, or we will have a list at the door- be prepared to show your ID. 100% of all proceeds will go to JDRF (Juvenile diabetes research foundation) to help fund a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D), an autoimmune disease in which a person’s pancreas stops producing insulin, a hormone people need to get energy from food. T1D strikes both children and adults at any age and suddenly. Its onset has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. People with T1D must take insulin via multiple daily injections or by insulin pump to stay alive. There is currently nothing you can do to prevent it, and there is no cure. We hope to see you! Come out for a really fun time- for a great cause! :)
